Lincoln County, Washington — Wheat Country Interrupted by a Reservoir

Lincoln County is Big Bend wheat country until the Columbia River reminds the map that agriculture is not the only thing happening.

Modern agriculture changed their scale. Larger machinery and consolidated farms allowed the same acreage to remain productive with fewer households.
