First: don’t ignore the documents. If you think service was improper, talk to an attorney or contact the court clerk about procedure—because deadlines may still run. Separately, you can contact Paper Monkey and request a review. We can confirm whether a job exists in our system and review our documentation for accuracy and professionalism.

The fastest way to verify and review is to provide:

• Your name (or the name on the papers) and the date/time of the interaction (approximate is fine).
• The location (address or cross‑streets).
• Any case caption, court name, or cause/case number shown on the documents (if you have it).
• A description of the server (badge/ID, vehicle, clothing) and what was said/done.
• If you received paperwork: a photo of the front page (you can redact personal details you’re uncomfortable sharing).

Often, yes in a basic sense—but with limits. Many documents identify the filing party or attorney on the face of the papers. If you don’t have the papers, we can usually confirm the hiring party’s name/firm (so you can request copies) once we verify you are the correct recipient. We do not disclose unnecessary personal information about the client or the case.

If an error is within our control, we work with the client to correct it in the most direct lawful way, which may include a re-serve or corrected documentation depending on the facts.

If you cancel your request before we accept it, we release any payment hold and refund any payment received for that request. Once we accept your order, the service fee is nonrefundable. If a billing error is ours, we correct it. Service outcomes are not guaranteed.
